Message board procedures Empty Message board procedures

Post  masbury Tue Oct 23, 2012 2:04 am

When I read "General Forum" posts (like the one about finding a new trike video), two surprises appear:
    1. All attachments say "Only admins may see this attachment", and
    2. When I try to reply, a message says "Only admins may post in this forum."
I'll bet that's not what you intend!
    Thanks!

I cannot recreate the problem. The only ting I can think of is that you were not logged in with your user name and password at the time.

    Hope this helps.

Here's what I see when I look at your post on self-greasing bushings. I am, indeed logged in.

N55 site refers to self lubricating bearings but gave no details.
I did a google search on the self lubricating plastic bearings and found this link along with many others. Seems it would not be a problem except for maybe the quantity that need be ordered.

Message board procedures Empty another example

Here's another example. If I could, I'd reply under the thread where it is posted, but I am not allowed to do so. Obviously, I am logged in, or this message I'm writing just now wouldn't be listed as from me. I can post in this thread, but not in the other.
    Cheers and thanks,

"Parts list for a "XYZ CARGO"

The models are continuously improved and the design data is adjusted from time to time. Also, every now and then will see a different model. The parts and construction plans for the new XYZ CARGO needs a little bit until they are ready for printing - currently there is much changed. The current status is always happy to read on pages of [Only admins are allowed to see this link] There is also now the blueprint for the XYZ ONESEATER:

Manual for the XYZ ONESEATER in English gibts at [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

The above is copied from German language site [Only admins are allowed to see this link]

The way I presently feel is that the "plans" are just a guideline. As has been pointed out, there are discrepancies in the drawings. I feel that if your a person that needs step by step instructions and accurate drawing, you will be somewhat lost with what is presently available. I do think the "plans" are complete enough for some to build a very functional trike. I also think that N55 is somewhat slow in advancing the project.

I would like to hear what you think about the "plans".

    Thanks
    George
